The mermaid saves the prince from a sinking ship and watches over him for a while on the shore. Before he fully conscience and aware of what has happened a young woman from the temple runs down to the beach to find the prince.

So, does the prince wake to see the temple girl and believes she rescued him and they fall madly in love while the mermaid can only watch sadly from the sea?

Or does the prince wake to see the mermaid?
