We modified the design by adding texture to the neckline with filigree and lace over the bust. To capture the gauziness of the bottom of the skirt, we added an ombre silk overlay. Sailor Moon artist Naoko Takeuchi often decorated the edges of her artwork by laying down a lace doily and airbrushing over it. We wanted to bring in that element by spraying the edges of her gown to look like it was fading into a lacy background
It looks so OLD! Which sounds bad. I assure you it's not at all. It looks elegant in an antique, victorian sort of way. Very sensual. WONDERFULLY done. Gah I'd give my... well I'd give my several extra pounds of unneeded flesh to be able to wear something like this.
