This fairy gown was inspired by the vibrant fuchsia 'Emma Louise' flower ([link]). I wanted the overall look of the gown to resemble a upside down flower. The top being the sepal holding the petals that fall below. I made an asymmetrical underbust corset that laces up on each side under the arms. The silk ombre petals are decorated with varying size sequins and beads. It also lights up! I embedding LEDs in the wings to give it that "faerie glow" at night.
I think this is dress is made for me, since it's based off my first name/middle name flower (which I never new existed; you learn something new everyday...)! It's absolutely stunning!! You are extremely talented!!
